Compilation (Notice to Reader)
Compilation, or Notice to Reader reporting on annual financial statements is not considered an assurance engagement, by our profession. In practice, it is the report of choice for the majority of private business owners. Financial institutions often ask for a review engagement as part of the standard credit facilities agreement. In certain situations, they may waive that requirement, and accept a compilation, or notice to reader financial statement, from a reputable professional accountant.
For the majority of business owners, financial statements are not just for the bank. They are for annual filing with Canada Revenue Agency, and managing their business. We work with small to large sized businesses in virtually all sectors, within our trading area. Contact one of our professionals, and let us help you design a compilation engagement financial statement, which meets all of your needs, for less money. We won't suggest a review or an audit, unless it makes practical sense for you.
