Howard Swanson, C.A. - Founding Partner (Retired)
Howard commenced his accounting career in 1957, hiring on with Touche Ross & Company in Saskatoon. He worked for three years in the Wilkie office, transferring to the North Battleford office in 1960.
Howard received his Chartered Accountant designation in 1962. He was a member of the Professional Conduct Committee of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Saskatchewan in the 1970's. He conducted several practice inspections of firms in Saskatoon and Regina during his tenure with the committee. He was also a member of the Kinsmen Club of North Battleford from 1963 to 1978 serving as Director, Treasurer and President.
Howard left Touche Ross & Company in 1970. He was instrumental in starting a local firm at that time. The firm grew to 9 partners and 12 support staff. He started his own firm in 1982. His son, Garth, joined the firm in 1987 and his nephew, Greg Gryba, in 1988.
Howard retired in 2009 after serving the profession for 52 years.
